St. Pio became a Capuchin friar when he was 16 years old and was ordained a priest in 1910 in duomo Benevento church. He was enlisted in the army in 1915 but was later discharged in 1918 due to health problems. After that, he returned to St Giovanny Rotondo where he temporarily lived. He received the stigmata in 1918, which he kept until his death in 1968.
In 1922, The Vatican prohibits his appearance in public as well as the celebration of the Eucharist to the general public. This condition was maintained for 10 years to be finally withdrawn in 1933 when the faculties of Padre Pio were restored. being allowed to confess first to men (March 25, 1934) and then to confess to women (May 12, 1934).
He died in 1968 and his funeral was attended by over a hundred thousand people. After that, Padre Pio was canonized as a saint by Pope John Paul II in 2002, and his feast day is celebrated on September 23.

GA2-240202501-AA1-EV02 - Virtual Interview Video
Here, I present to you my virtual interview transcription because I have lost the video. The interviewer questions and comments are highlighted in blue color and my answers and comments are highlighted in orange color.Hi, how are you?
RTA: Hi, I’m fine. Thanks.
RTA: Hi, I’m fine. Thanks.
We are looking for a cost engineer, Do you have experience as a cost engineer?
RTA: Yes, I have experience as a cost engineer.
Can you explain what a cost engineer does?
RTA: As a cost engineer I have to focus on managing costs and resources for business operations or project development. I have to include forecasting and to develop projects since its early stages to predict their success and prevent potential risks.
Can you walk us through your process for estimating project costs?
RTA: When I receive a request, I first briefly read the information provided by the client, then I estimate the amounts of material required for the sizing of the solution and I send them to the different suppliers for them to quote. While I wait for the response from the different providers, I structure the budget and the economic offer in such a way that I can respond to the client on time. Once I receive the prices from the suppliers, I incorporate them into the economic offer and deliver them to the client.
How do you handle cost variances on a project and what steps do you take to minimize them?
RTA: In the early stage of the project, during the estimation of the costs, I apply in the calculations some economic factors that help during the execution stage to mitigate the possible risks that may arise. When cost variations occur in the project, I speak with the client and with the different suppliers to carry out the respective negotiations that help minimize the risks.
How do you stay up-to-date with changes in cost estimating methods and technology?
RTA: I attend update training on new products and technologies that appear on the market.
Can you give an example of a complex project you were involved in as a cost engineer and how you approached it?
RTA: Once, I had to quote a specific lighting product that soon became obsolete and was no longer available when it was supposed to be purchased. Instead, we had to find different alternatives to present to the client for approval. Obviously, the client was upset by this inconvenience.
How do you balance the need for accurate cost estimates with the need to meet project deadlines?
RTA: Talking and negotiating with suppliers to find better products at better prices.
Can you explain the role of a cost engineer in the procurement process?
RTA: As a cost engineer, I must provide the purchasing and acquisitions area with information such as commercial agreements made with the suppliers for the project as well as the purchase prices of the products so that they can carry out a final negotiation and purchase.
Do you have any questions for me?
RTA: Not. I don’t have questions.
Thanks for your time. We will inform you about the status of the contracting process.
RTA: Thank you, I will be attentive to your requirements.
