Hi! My name is Alejandro Prada, I live in Armenia Quindío and I am an apprentice of the software analysis and development program, and this means I want to show my English work with the accompaniment of the instructor Wilson.

THE FAMOUS PETER GENE HERNANDEZ (B.M)

Peter Gene Hernandez is a professional singer, songwriter, music producer and dancer from an American town called Honolulu Hawaii but with Puerto Rican and Filipino roots. At the age of two, his father gave him the nickname "BRUNO" then he found him physically similar to a professional wrestler, he has five brothers and they are all very musical but with different musical tastes.

He began his musical career at a very young age, making appearances at various festivals in his hometown. In 1990 at the age of 4 he did impersonations of Elvis Presley and was such a good impersonator that he was recognized as "THE LITTLE ELVIS" cataloging him as the youngest impersonator of the singer in 1992.

In 2003 he graduated from university and moved to LOS ANGELES with the dream of continuing his musical career, there his sister helped him by introducing him some contacts that helped his beginnings in production companies, working as a producer, consultant and composer, in De In fact, before working alone, he wrote songs for artists like FloRida, Travis McCoy, Adam Levine, Sean Kingston, and more.

In 2010 he released a hit called "it's better if you don't understand" in May 2010 and reached its peak at number 99 on the Billboard 200, in that same year he made collaborations with great artists of the moment, giving him access to stages such as MTV Video Music Awards.

Then he managed to release his debut album "Doo-wops & Hooligans" in October 2010, his first single managed to reach the number 1 position on the Billboard Hot 100 ranking, it was the year in which his career began to be recognized. As a world-class artist since his songs were widely listened to on all music platforms and he also began to share stages with great artists.

In 2012 he released a new album which debuted at number 1 in Switzerland and the UK. It was the best-selling album by an artist in 2012 and his first single called "Locked out of Heaven" again reached the number 1 position in the ranking. Billboard Hot 100 and the second single known as "When I Was Your Man" reached the top 10 in 15 countries. In 2016 he was invited to participate as one of the artists of the Super Bowl 50 halftime show, that same year he won 4 Grammy Awards with the song "Uptown Funk" in the category BEST POP COLLABORATION, SONG OF THE YEAR.

In the following years, he continues releasing songs as a soloist or collaborating on singles that continue to reach the top positions in the most important rankings in the world.

This Artist has proven to be very versatile, professional and talented but he is not known as Peter Gene Hernández but as the famous BRUNO MARS.

  2. What kind of incentives could a green company offer to its employees?

  Companies should encourage their employees with bonuses, gifts, trips or recognition for their work and care for the environment within the company.

  3. In what other ways could businesses involve their employees in environmental issues?

  Companies should propose a day as "caring for the planet" and playful activities could be done that call the attention of other people to help with the theme like plant tree, clean rivers and parks, and more...
